Patricia was born in Lima, Peru, and she is the youngest of three sisters. She grew up in two very nice places in Pueblo Libre until she was 16 and then in San Borja until she got married and moved to San Diego, California 23 years ago, which she considers her second home now.
She studied at the University of Lima and she graduated as an Industrial Engineer. Her tendency was always towards mathematics and finance, so she specialized in Economics which she complemented with Business Administration. In Peru, Patricia worked in the banking business until she moved to San Diego when she met her wonderful husband with whom she started a beautiful family. Patricia currently works in the San Diego Unified School District. |
From a very young age she had a great motivation that was her mother to whom she is infinitely grateful for showing her that there is a need and it is very large in our Peru. Patricia visited many hospitals and forgotten places helping many people. That is why when the proposal of becoming the Director of Social Responsibility at the House of Peru, she felt very motivated to continue the work she did in Peru from a very young age. Her mission and vision now as a Vice President is to try to connect the Peruvian community in San Diego to continue spreading our Peruvian culture and transferring this to the new generations. She continues to do so now as our Vice President.
