Claudia M. Valera Newkirk 

Claudia was born in Lima, Perú, graduated from Carmelitas High School and worked in the travel and aviation Industry for 12 years.  In 1995 she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Ricardo Palma University, Lima.  She relocated to California in 2001 after receiving a job offer in San Bernardino, California. She has lived in the state ever since and moved to the San Diego area in 2017. She is a proud mother of two, Alejandro and Nicholas,  and married Tim Newkirk in 2021.
In 2005 she turned her skills in sales into the Real Estate Industry and became a Real Estate Broker in 2016. 
Claudia has a passion for aviation and is pursuing her private pilot’s license. Serving others has always been important to Claudia.  She has been involved with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Feeding San Diego, the IRS VITA Program, and participates at her church to help and support to others.  Claudia didn’t hesitate to become involved with House Of Peru in 2019, and to join the other volunteers to achieve the goal of having our own Peruvian Cottage in Balboa Park, and to promote our Peruvian Culture as a legacy for our children and future generations.
