Daniel Cahua

I grew up in Lima, Peru and came to the United States when I was 22. I have lived in Canada, Pennsylvania, Missouri and San Diego, California. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and currently work in IT as a System analyst for a pharmaceutical management company. I have 4 children and 2 stepchildren and I am always eager to serve those I love and my community. For fun I love to surf, hike, salsa, play cajon (just started) watch soccer and travel. 


While I have made a home here in San Diego, I will always be tied to Peru. I love the food, music, colorful culture and diverse landscapes of Peru. Peruvians are a passionate people and nothing shows this more than during a national soccer game. I got to attend the game that qualified Peru National team to a World Cup after 32 years.  I look for opportunities to share my love of Peru with others and I look forward to serving our Peruvian community through the House of Peru.
