Angelica (Tata) CasanaI was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and have lived in San Diego for a little over 24 years with my husband, Carlos. We are proud parents of two adult children, Carla and Rafael.
I work as a commercial insurance underwriter for the largest MGA in the United States, where I am also a founding member of our Hispanic/Latino Resource Group. This group serves as a welcoming community that celebrates the richness of Hispanic and Latino culture, promotes awareness of our community’s contributions, and creates opportunities for personal and professional development within our organization. This same passion for community and cultural pride inspired me to join the board of the House of Peru. As Director of Membership, my goal is to welcome not only Peruvians, but also anyone who connects with our culture in any way. I am committed to highlighting our achievements and showcasing the many ways our diversity enriches every space we are part of. |
