Submission Requirements:
1. Essay Length and Format:
- Write an essay of maximum 1,000 words.
- The essay should explore the theme: "Celebrating Peru's Independence Bicentennial: What Makes You Peruvian in the United States."
- Essays must be original, typed, single-spaced, and submitted in PDF or Word document format.
2. Cover Page:
- Include a cover page with the following details:
- Participant's name
- Age
- School
- Summary of community service activities or leadership.
3. Additional Documentation:
- Provide a brief biography (150 words) highlighting the participant's connection to Peru and the United States.
- Include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader attesting to the participant's academic performance and community service.
Judging Criteria:
- Originality: Unique perspective and creative expression of the theme.
- Relevance: How well the essay addresses the theme of the contest.
