Meet SienaSiena has been a part of House of Peru’s Youth Program for four years, serving as the
Queen/President this year and Vice President and Treasurer in the past. She loves sharing Peru’s amazing culture, music, dance and food with others. Her favorite Peruvian food is Aji de Gallina and empanadas (especially her Abuelita’s). She has enjoyed learning traditional Peruvian dances with the House of Peru Youth Program and performing them at various venues throughout San Diego. Last year Siena organized a fundraiser for Casa Hogar, an orphanage in Lima and was fortunate enough to be able to personally bring needed supplies and gifts to the kids in the orphanage. This past May, Siena published a children’s book about the Peruvian Hairless Dog called: The Legend of Inti and Flora: How the Peruvian Hairless Dog Lost Its Hair. |
