Edgar was born in Lima Peru. He moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 12 and he was very fortunate to always be able to go back to Peru many times during summer and vacation. He embraces his Peruvian background proudly and he tries to always share his culture and heritage with his friends. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 2016 where he was granted a fellowship and graduated from the University of Southern California with a master’s degree in Computer engineering.
In 2018 he joined Qualcomm where he currently works as a senior software engineer. He was involved with Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) during his college years as well as in Qualcomm. He has been involved in many university events that promote STEM for minorities and he tries to share his experience whenever possible.
Outside work, he was blessed to meet a group of Peruvian friends that introduced him to the House of Peru organization. He attended many events and meetings and decided to be an active member of House of Peru starting 2020. He joined the board of directors to support and represent the mission of the House of Peru.
