The HPR Queens Organization is an
educational, cultural service organization for young members elected
by the various national organizations that make up the House of
Pacific Relations (HPR). HPR hosts the International Cottages of
which the House of Peru is a member. Please visit the the HPR
Queens Organization's web site for more information.
Each year, member Houses of HPR elect
Queens and Princesses to reign from October 1-September
30. Members must be between the ages of 10 and 21
and members of their Houses either as individuals or through
family membership. They are encouraged to remain active
in their Houses throughout the year and are required to
participate in all Queens activities.
The House of Peru is proud to
announce
that our own Queen of 2006, Gayle Miñano,
has been elected Queen of Queens by the Queens
of the other houses in the HPR organization.
